Common questions
How do credits work?
Searching and previewing matches is free. Getting a person's full profile costs 1 credit, and their verified work email 1 more. New accounts start with 3 free credits, and packs start at $5 for 100 profiles, with no subscription. Credits stay in your balance until you use them.
Do I get my credits back when nothing is found?
Yes. An email lookup that finds no email, and a lookup tool that finds nothing, give their credits back automatically.
How do I connect ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant?
Add https://peoplesearch.im/api/mcp to the assistant: in ChatGPT as a custom MCP server in Plugins with OAuth, in Claude as a custom connector. The assistant asks you to sign in to PeopleSearch.im and approve the connection once. Step-by-step setup for each assistant is on the Developers page.
How do I disconnect an assistant or revoke an API key?
Open the Developers page while signed in. Connected apps lists every assistant you connected, and Disconnect revokes its access at once. API keys are listed on the same page and can be revoked there.
How do I close my account?
Write to hello@peoplesearch.im from the address you signed up with. We delete or anonymize your account's data within 30 days, as the privacy policy describes.
I'm in the results. How do I remove my profile?
Use the opt-out page. It needs no account, and once your profile is removed it stops appearing in searches, unlocks and lookups.
